Pedal, Paddle, Pace for Percy's Pals, 14 June 2014
We raise life-changing funds to enhance care at UHS

Story

I am raising money in support of the Percy's Pals appeal for the purchase of a portable CT scanner for the Wessex Neuro ITU. Over the last few years the effects of strokes and brain injuries have affected both friends and family. One of these was Richard Percival, a friend and local GP who died last year as a result of a stroke. The Percy's Pals appeal was set up in his memory.

On 14th June I am planning with a friend to cycle off road from coast to coast of Britain, kayak the Great Glen in Scotland and climb 24 mountains in the Lake District. The distance is 165 miles and will involve 20,187 feet of ascent. We aim for the time on bike, in the kayak and on foot to be less than 60 hours. I hope you will support me.
