Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Having jumped very little since undergoing spinal surgery many years ago to correct Scoliosis (a curvature of the spine) I have been inspired by the amazing late Hannah Francais who's incredible bravery and zest for life (especially life with horses in it!) has been infectious.

Hannah's tenacity to 'Kick Cancers Butt' and continue riding her beloved horses throughout her fight was awe-inspiring and made me realise how many barriers I have allowed to be in my way and how many excuses I have made to dodge opportunities that are crying out to be seized!

My spine is scaffolded with titanium and fused with bone from my pelvis and I still have a small curvature- so let me off on loosing a couple of marks in my dressage test for being un-level 😉. But Hannah wouldn't have let such things get in her way so why should I??

So! I am a mother of two, who has hit the big 30 this year, physically have a few obstacles to overcome but I'm going to give it my all and hopefully contribute to Kicking Cancers Butt with Wilberry Wonder Pony in the memory of the legendary Hannah Francais and aim to compete in my first ever BE80 by Autumn 2017.

Thanks for your support!
