Story

The Oxford City Blues Under 10's football team are attempting the massive challenge of walking up Mount Snowdon on June 22nd to place a Royal British Legion poppy cross on the summit in remembrance of all of the soldiers who have died fighting for our country.

They are all ten years old and as well as remembering those who fought and died for their country since 1914 they also wanted to do something to look after the old soldiers still with us especially as this year is the centenary of the start of World War One so they have set themselves a target of £1085 for the Royal British Legion which is a pound a metre!

This is no small task as they are attempting to take their little legs up the 1085 metre high mountain!

So please support these lads as this will take loads of hard work to achieve this feat and they would love to be able to raise a lot of money for the old soldiers this year!
