Story

We are Anglo Old Buoys thank you for stopping by...!

It is fair to say that since being founded in 2010 to compete in the first Essex Dragon Boat Championships in honour of our friend Tim Reeve who we tragically lost to Leukaemia, we have come on leaps and bounds (and drank a lot in the process!).

2016 - The BIG one!

This year we are bidding for our 3rd consecutive Essex Dragon Boat Championship title, previously winning the 2012 Dragon Boat Olympics and the 2014 Dragon Boat World Cup!

This accomplishment in itself has been near enough a minor miracle given our penchant for day time drinking, however to honour the tenth anniversary of Tim's passing we would like to push our luck one more time and go for the Hat trick.

Forget Leicester City, this would be the real fairy tale sporting accomplishment of 2016!

The Serious Bit...

The purpose of Bi-Annual Event hosted by The Tim Reeve Charitable Trust is to raise money for Bloodwise (formerly Leukaemia Research), with previous events raising over a quarter of a million pounds.

We are hoping to Smash our previous fund raising totals so please be generous. You can donate online or by SMS message by txting 'BUOY55' and '£amount' to 70070
