Prospect Hospice is a charity that provides dedicated end of life care for patients in Swindon, Malborough and North Wiltshire a community of nearly 300,000 people.
Last year Prospect Hospice cared for more than 2000 people and supported their families too.
The care is given free of charge and in 2013-2014 the cost to deliver all the hospice services was more than £5.8 million, being funded less than 30% means that they need to raise 70% which is over £4 million.
Working together with the hospice and Oakhurst School in Swindon we would like to break the world record for the longest loom band bracelet. Donate what ever you feel you can to help and bring your loom band to school.
We are doing this as a mother at Oakhurst school is currently staying at the hospice and is fighting all she can to battle her cancer. The support for her family and her is beyond words. She feels that giving to this charity will help others in the future, something that she has wanted to do all her life.
So during the school holidays get together with your friends and family and make a loom band then bring it into school, remember to donate what you can on the just giving page.
Let's break that world record and raise lots of money for this special cause.
