Story

Npower have supported Macmillan over the last 10 years and to celebrate this npower have decided to hold 10 fundraising activities within 2014.

Because of this 10 year relationship, npower will match any donations £ 4 £.

The first activity (23/02/14 - Simon's Fathers birthday) a number of npower colleagues will be doing is a bike ride around all of the West Midlands sites within 24 hours. This includes 2 sites in Oldbury, Kingswinford, Worcester and 2 Solihull sites. This took 12 hours to complete.

As you may or may not know, Simons father passed away after a 2 year battle against cancer on 03/04/14. He is the motivation to complete the future challenges we will face and hopefully raise money for Macmillan.

The Second activity (21/05/14) Andy Flavel and I will becompleting a row the length and back of lake Windermere - Approx 22 miles and will take Approx 7 hours.

The Third activity I have been selected to complete a coast to coast bike ride in the North East which is 165 miles over 3 days.
