We support Birmingham Children's Hospital to improve the lives of sick children

Story

On 16th June 2012, the Dragonboat crew from No 5 Chambers took to the water in Brindley Place to raise money for Birmingham Children's Hospital.

For the past three years, a crew from No 5 Chambers has taken part in the Dragonboat racing, raising over £8,000 towards the Cardiac Unit, the End of Life Care Project and recently the Cancer Unit.

In 2010, our Oompa Loompas won the fancy dress prize; and in 2011, our Dalmations defended the fancy dress crown. This year we continued our impressive record on the water but sadly failed to defend our fancy dress crown with Buzz Lightyear and the aliens! Despite having the most creative and eye-catching costumes, and our best effort so far, they couldn't award us the prize for a third year running!
