Many thanks to everybody for your support, it's much appreciated and will help me when the going gets tough.
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I have just taken up cycling and jumped in at the deep end by entering this 100k ride around the Isle of Wight. I want to attempt something challenging and with only a handful of weeks to prepare this certainly fits the bill!
I want to raise money to support a fantastic charity that was a lifeline to us on our difficult journey to start a family. The charity supports thousands of couples who struggle to acheive the dream that so many people take for granted, providing information, support and a wonderful network of people who really understand how painful it can be.
This 3 part, 100k sportive starts from the iconic New Forest National Park, then jumps onto the ferry taking you to the Isle of Wight to continue your cycling trip. The route sweeps south through the forest through picturesque villages with wild animals grazing at the roadside before arriving at Lymington. Board the ferry, cross the Solent and arrive on the Isle of Wight. The 2nd part of the sportive around the sensational Isle of Wight. The route will head clock wise around the island and is jammed packed with quiet roads and coastline vistas! In no time arrive back at Yarmouth and take the ferry back to the mainland. The final leg is a short ride back through the forest to the finish!
