Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

What: Cycling 50 miles from Seahouses to Tynemouth.

When: Saturday 2nd July 2011.

Why: If you haven't already heard Mark Allison aka Run Geordie Run is currently completing an incredible task by running coast to coast across America in aid of these two charities.  He is running 3100 miles in 100 days working out to be more than a marathon a day on average.

As would you agree this is a truly inspiring event taking into consideration the sacrifices that Mark has made to complete his journey.  In light of this we have decided to support Mark and his 2 charities in raising as much money as we can by completing our cycling challenge.

Please bear in mind that we are complete novice cyclists and the only aim really (apart from raising money) is to make sure that Nigel looks dapper in his tux at the homecoming ball for Mark in September.
