In August 2012 a personal friend of mine and a friend of the Towcestrians Rugby Club was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (ALL) and had to commence treatment almost immediately at Leicester Royal Infirmary at the beginning of September.

It's still early days, but so far his 'Road to Recovery' has thankfully been a smooth one and he has not suffered any major complications. But during his treatment he has seen many others who have not been so lucky and whose paths have been much more torturous.
