Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am doing this in memory of my wonderful Mum, Carole Yates, who very sadly passed away recently on the 25th November 2015. Mum was diagnosed with inflammatory breast cancer in February 2012. We were then told in June 2012 that Mum had 2 brain tumours and the oncologist said she had a few months left. However, Mum was such a strong and courageous lady who loved life and her family so very much that she went on to enjoy a few more years. Sadly, cancer is very clever and managed to divert all the different drugs Mum took over the years. Mum was an amazing lady who never got disheartened and remained positive until the very end. Mum leaves behind her husband, 4 children and 9 grandchildren who she loved deeply with all her heart.
Millions of people have lost friends and family to this evil disease so we need to research more into cancer. This is my small way of contributing to such a worthwhile cause.
I will try my utmost to dance for 3 hours non-stop so please donate however much you can to this fantastic charity. Thank you so very much xxx
