I am running 26.2 miles for Rays of Sunshine Children’s Charity!

Yes, it’s official – I’ve only gone and signed up for the Virgin London Marathon! It will take place on 22 April and I’ve told everyone now, so I can’t back out! This will be my first marathon so, as I’m sure you can imagine, I am absolutely terrified (to say the least) but so excited at the same time!

I’ve chosen to support Rays of Sunshine’s incredible work because they are a wonderful charity who exist to make the wishes of children across the UK with serious and life-threatening illnesses a reality. Their work is incredibly heart-warming and they do so much to bring happiness and joy to children who truly need it.

I usually do a 5K charity race every year (Standard Chartered City Race & Race For Life) but decided 2012 was the year to step it up and give myself a real challenge! I’ve always wanted to do it so why not now!

I guess all there’s left to say is PLEASE SPONSOR ME! I’m sure you’ll agree this is such a worthwhile cause so please dig deep. J
