We’re the only charity fighting to end child abuse in the UK and Channel Islands. That’s why we help children who’ve been abused to rebuild their lives, we protect children at risk, and we find the best ways of preventing child abuse from ever happening.

Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my just giving page.

As most of you know I have raised lots of money for various charities over the years. However, running the London Marathon will be the biggest challenge, for charity, that I have had to face. I'm running it as part of the Rainham School for Girls Marathon team and between the eleven of us we are hoping to raise over £20000 for three different charities.

As this will be my first time at running a marathon I am scared at the prospect of having to run 26.2 miles but I am extremely proud to have got a place. I still can't quite believe that in April I will actually be running in this amazing event. Please support me, if you can. Thank you.

The NSPCC is the leading children's charity fighting to end child abuse in the UK and Channel Islands. We help children who have been abused to rebuild their lives, protect those at risk, and find the best ways of preventing abuse from ever happening.Every child deserves the best possible chance to rebuild their life after abuseThat’s why we’re here. That's what drives all our work. And that’s why – as long as there’s abuse – we will fight for every childhood.
