Running for Bea

London Landmarks Half Marathon 2019 · 24 March 2019 ·
Last year I ran the London Landmark's Half Marathon to support the amazing work that my friends Dom and Georgia were doing in fundraising for Tommy's, the baby charity. They have been doing this in memory of their daughter, Beatrice, who died in May 2017.
Their efforts went far beyond just the Half Marathon and to date their fundraising has topped a staggering £194,000. This money has gone to help Tommy's open Clinics in Manchester and Berkshire the charity have named a room at the hospital after Bea.
To help honour her memory and keep the fundraising going I have signed up to run the London Landmark's half marathon again in March this year.
Thank you so much for visiting my page and donating. Your generosity will hopefully mean other parents don't have to go through what Dom and Georgia have been through and other children will be able to live long and healthy lives. In this way, Bea's memory can be treasured by millions of families for years to come.
Tommy's funds and undertakes groundbreaking research into miscarriage, still-birth and neonatal death. Their work in the last 25 years has already helped lower the number of miscarriages in the UK but more needs to be done. Around 25% of pregnancies in the UK end in premature death.
