Story

Nick has not previously been an active supporter of the MacMillan Cancer Support Charity. He is supportive of cancer charities, not least because of family members having been diagnosed with cancer in the last couple of years. He is looking forward to the physical challenge of the BMBR as he is worried that if his waist keeps expanding at the current rate he will soon be buying suits at the Outsize shop. He feels that his preparation so far has been entirely adequate for the challenge of 1,000 miles in 10 days, as he spent a couple of hours on a bike in May 2011. His main concern however is that 2 hours riding a bike with such a tiny saddle had a very damaging effect on certain parts of the male anatomy and it took several days to recover normal sensation, he is therefore considering specialist training on how ride a bike without actually sitting down.
