Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my personal JustGiving page, which aims to raise at least £5000 for groundbreaking breast cancer research and treatment. Overall we want to raise £1,000,000 to enable our researchers at the University of Nottingham to detect cancer early, stop cancer from spreading and develop
personalised treatments for cancer sufferers.
My mother-in-law, Dorothy Gawtry, was diagnosed with breast cancer at 41 and the disease took her life early. Around the world, 10,000 women die from the disease every week and every day, in the UK, 140 women are told "you have breast cancer". This is a shocking statistic and with your support we can change it.
Sponsor me as part of the Life Cycle 6 team to cycle 1400 miles to cover the four points of the compass of Great Britian – from Lizard Point to Lowestoft Ness, Ardnamurchan Point to Dunnet Head.
Thank you.
