Some friends and I have signed up for the Tough Mudder event in June to raise money for the Chanctonbury Community Playscheme. I know it's a long way off, but from the looks of this beast, we may need to actually TRAIN *shudders* for it:

Like I said, the charity is the Chanctonbury Community Playscheme. We run for a month every summer and provide respite care to a wide age range of children with special needs. We're actually one of the biggest playschemes in the South-East I think, with 100 or so children each year, each one given a one-to-one helper to help them get the most out of their time with us.

We often take the kids out on trips - bowling, swimming, go-karting, canoeing - etc, as well as hiring special activitites to come to us - Mobile zoos, mini-beasts, shows and pantos...

Obviously we couldn't do all this without the fantastic support we receive from brilliant donations, so please dig out your debit card and help us out! If nothing else it'll be worth it to see the pain our bodies will go through the next few months.
