The Lake Districts most exciting & challenging swim,  in the safest hands.

The Head to the Hills Utterly Buttermere Swim is not your average open water swim, it’s a real adventure swimming challenge in one of the most awesome locations in the Lake District.

This Buttermere 10k is the toughest long distance swim in the country; it is deep and cold, the weather can be a nightmare, and we are taking you the long way round. In 2012 the Buttermere Swim was a tough call to complete and we've got more in store for you this year... the question is... can YOU handle it?

Buttermere Swim 5K & 10K – 10.45am
The Start / Finish is located at the North West end of Lake Buttermere right next to the village of Buttermere.

The Swallows Charity supports all people affected by head and neck cancers, patients, carers friends or relatives. The patient is the focus for support, help and signposting, however the role of carers and others is vital too, with their own support needs often overlooked.
