This is my fourth Fireflies Tour from Geneva to Cannes. It just goes to prove that you never learn... I'm doing it because I can, and for those poor souls who wait for a blood match and a cure. 

For the price of a round of drinks, a decent meal (not McDonalds) or a ticket to the theatre you can make a difference to someone's life. It could be someone you know. I'm riding and raising money for blood cancers, their treatment and the search for a cure, but I ride for everyone fighting any form of cancer, or for those who have lost a loved one.

The ride from Geneva to Cannes is 1,000km, taking in many of the classic Tour de France climbs over seven days. We climb over 85,000 ft in every sort of weather that on high wants to throw at us. We eat Magnums, drink from mountain streams and sleep with the marmots at night. OK, made that last bit up, we do eat Magnums though, by the truck load.
