Story

Thank you so much to everyone who has sponsored me. I am so pleased that I was able to do you all proud and achieve the challenge. Xxxxx

For those of you that know me, you will understand my reason for choosing this charity.

My husband's daughter, Jackie was diagnosed with this terrible disease when she was just 4 years old and fought a brave battle until sadly she was taken from us aged 10 years old.

This disease had a devastating affect on the whole family made all the more traumatic due to the lack of support and understanding of the disease.

The 'Battens Disease Family Association' (BDFA) is able to give the support and understanding that is so badly needed when dealing with this terrible disease.
