Story
Im at it again and this time I have company!!!
So I entered the London to Brighton last year and came close to completing it. Two weeks after the walk I was due to climb Kilimanjaro, something that I had put a lot of time and money into and whilst doing the London to Brighton I pulled my knee. I pushed on as far as I could but I knew I couldn't risk doing major damage and forfeiting my climb up Kili. I said last year that I would be back, have another go and this time complete it... So here I am, all signed up and preparing to put myself through it again. Its far from easy and pushed me and my friends to our emotional and physical limits but the money raised is for such a worthwhile cause we find ourselves at it again. 100km within 30 hours.. From 7am on the Saturday morning and hopefully finishing by noon on the Sunday, no sleeping, walking straight though the night until we are done. This time I have my friend Sarah in tow with me......
Sarah has previously completed both the Three Peaks Challenge and the London Marathon! Sarah is a keen walker and anyone who knows her will know that quitting just isn't an option. I'm excited to have Sarah as part of the team and couldn't ask for a better walking partner.
This year we have a bigger team, enthusiastic and already training to take this challenge on. Thank you for taking the time to visit my page and if you could please share this page on Facebook then thank you.... if you could see your way to make a donation (even a couple of quid) then even better!
Cheers!
