Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Back in August my son, Jordan, set off on the Wiggle Cotswold Sportive event with a smile on his face; but in traditional Jordan style, without a water bottle. Just a few hours later Jordan was involved in an accident that changed his and his families lives forever.

In a freak accident, Jordan came off his bike at speed and was hit by a car, breaking nearly every bone in his body and suffering severe head injuries. The Great Western Air Ambulance was dispatched and treated him at the scene before flying him to the trauma unit at South Mead Hospital in Bristol. Without their actions that day, in the treatment they gave him and the speed at which they got him to hospital gave Jordan the best chance of surviving his catastrophic injuries.

So, in name of the Air Ambulance, I am getting back in the saddle to ride in the TeamJordan ride in Haywards Heath. Having not cycled in a number of years, this presents a huge challenge to my balance and fitness! If you'd like to support me in this event, and this most fantastic cause, it would be hugely appreciated.
