Somalia is experiencing the worst drought in 35 years, this is causing a widespread famine in a country where civil war, unclean water, poor sanitation and a high infant mortality rate are already prevalent. The quality of life for those affected is amongst the worst in the world, and it is our duty, both as Muslims and as people who are fortunate enough to never have experienced a similar situation, to address the issue.

On the 17th November 2018, I will be partaking in a charity trek through Snowdonia National Park with the University of Birmingham Islamic Society, it is my intention to raise £100, but I believe we can go above and beyond this amount through the generosity of people such as yourself.

Please donate to this urgent cause, as the people of Somalia desperately need our help.

May Allah reward us for our efforts, and give his aid and guidance to those who need it most.
