Story
23.3.12 I can't believe I have just a week to go, time has gone soo quickly. I got home to find my Arsenal/Save the Children t-shirt waiting for me! It will be an honour to run for such a great charity.
And admittedly I may not be able to 'run' all the way round, but I WILL make it round on way or another.
15.2.12 Just a quick note to say the training is going well and I'm getting really excited as there are only six weeks to go. Must say all the donations and good luck messages have kept me going, and I even ran in the rain! Definitely feeling healthier, so might get the stopwatch out sometime soon.
Day One They say the Devil makes work for idle hands, and that could be why at 1.30am I signed up for the 'Be a Gunner, Be a Runner' event at the Emirates on March 31st 2012. As I'm the sort of person who doesn't even run for buses, this may either be very brave or very stupid! Either way, I love a challenge and I am determined to do it and raise some much needed cash for Save The Children. I'm trying to raise as much as possible, so if everyone gives a couple of quid, I'll meet my target in no time. Feel free to offer tips and advice, and I will keep you all updated with all the madness x
