In mid- June, I will be heading out to the Rosie May home in Sri Lanka with a group of other NTU students to assist at the home, and at the childrens’ local school. The money I hope to raise will go towards sponsoring more orphaned children into the Rosie May home, or to sustaining the home and providing the resources that the children need, such as food, school uniform, healthcare etc.

Mary and Graham set up the charity in January 2004 to help give the children who are orphaned or abandoned a route out of poverty and hardship via the Rosie May home. So, thanks to them, there are 18 children currently there, who now have a secure home filled with love and security – like any child’s home, should be.

Fortunately the majority of people reading this post are lucky enough to have a secure family, home and have experienced and benefited from the high quality education here in the UK and therefore I hope you will appreciate how passionate I am to contribute towards a charity that provides exactly that for less fortunate children.

contributes to provide these little ones with a better future.
