Members of the Munson"s Coffee Running Crew, which include amongst others myself & Panayiotis, Barista at Munson's Coffee, will be running the Ealing Eagles 10k run on May 19th. For some it will be a run in the park, for others it is a real challenge!  We would like to support the Tom Clabburn Memorial Fund administered by Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY). 

The charity Cardiac Risk in the Young, CRY, say that in the UK 12 young people a week aged 14-35 die from undiagnosed heart conditions.

Tom Clabburn was one of them. He died aged 14 in 2007.

Any funds raised go to Tom's Fund, which has raised more than £64,000 for CRY since 2008, primarily so that young people can benefit from free heart screenings. 

Tom's Fund has sponsored screenings every year from 2009 onwards. A total of almost 1,000 young people have been screened. 

We are planning further screenings in 2013, including one in Ealing in the autumn.

People can get tested privately for between £300- £400, but with no symptoms, why would you have a test?

Your money does not only goes towards screenings but also upgrading the equipment needed for testing and into research.
