Story
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.
My husband, Richard, passed away in Dec 2008 from non-hodgkins lymphoma. Myself, my family and friends therefore wish to raise as much money as possible for the Lymphoma Research Trust. This charity supports research into the treatment of Lymphomas and assist researchers with grants for medical trials.
For anyone interested, Richard kept a blog throughout his illness which I have updated since he passed away, although not with the same wit and flair as my clever husband. For those that may want to have a read - http://mrbaldylymphoma.blogspot.com/
This is where he created Mr Baldy!
Our next challenge is the Windsor Half Marathan 26th September. Taking part - Sam Wildman, Trish Nicolson, Louise Nicolson and John Wilks. All donations greatly recieved :)
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Lymphoma Research Trust gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
We have completed a number of challenges to date:-
10k Run @ Dorney Lake, Windsor Sunday 15th March - joining me in this event Katy Rogers, Kathryn Surtees and Henry Surtees - complete
My colleague Andrew Buckle will also be completing the Bath 1/2 Marathan on the same date (15th March) and will donate half of the money raised to this charity - complete and raised £469.10
We also have an additional offline payment of £674 raised by Cable&Wireless colleagues in Waterside House Bracknell.
