This year I'm forsaking all alcohol in it's many and varied forms in order to raise money for The Stroke Asscociation who provided to vital and desperately needed help to my partner and I when I had a severe brain hemorrhage 5 years ago which left me paralysed on one side and unable to speak. The Asscociation gave advice, support, and practical help when it was need most, and quickly, in a situation that arose seemingly out of nowhere and was devastaing.

So any donation you make will help people of all ages, from children to the elderly, and their families, to cope should this happen and get on with recovery as soon as possible.

*UPDATE* Woah! I never expected to get even remotely close to my target figure, let alone exceed it! Thank you all so much for your generosity, like I said I know exactly how much of a difference this cash makes so please know that every pound will make a difference (as cliched as that sounds ;) ).
