Mongol Rally 2011 · 23 July 2011 ·

We support indigenous and forest people to protect their rainforest home.

Story

Hello everyone!!

We are The Tree Musketeers which consists of Harrison Edwards, Dan Crawford and Charlie Manton and on the 23rd of July we will embark on an adventure of a lifetime, driving 10,000 miles from the Goodwood race curcuit in West Sussex to Ulaanbaatar in Mongolia... in a crappy 1.0 litre car... for charity... :)

We hope to raise £1000 for the Rainforest Foundation which is dedicated to helping the rainforest communities and influence national and international laws to protect rainforests and their inhabitants.

We also hope to raise the same amount or more if possible for the Christina Noble Childrens Foundation which is a charity dedicated to serving underprivileged children with the hope of helping each child maximize their life potential and also provide them with emergency and long-term medical care, nutritional rehabilitation, educational and vocational training and also protection from sexual exploitation. www.justgiving.com/treemusketeers (CNCF DONATE PAGE)

About the charity

The Rainforest Foundation UK aims to protect tropical rainforests by working with those who know the forest best – indigenous peoples and traditional forest dwellers. By supporting them, we're taking a major step forward in the battle to combat climate change.
