The husband of one of our advisers is an amputee and has benefited personally from the work done by LimbPower. Through the LimbPower Games and the various challenges they organise, amputees and the ambulant disabled can take part in sports they may otherwise have thought would be beyond them, or have the opportunity to climb Kilimanjaro, cycle from London to Paris, or walk the Great Wall of China.

After taking part in the LimbPower Games, participants have gone on to join the Paralympic teams, and Junior Games participants have learned to accept and even celebrate their 'disability'.
