Story

Hi,

My challenge this year starts in Africa and finishes in the UK with a World Record attempt, covering a distance of approximately, 1,035 miles (1,709km).  This is broken up into 5 events.

February:  Namibian Desert Challenge - 136 miles (220km) 5 day staged race

May:  Grand Union Canal Race - 145 miles (233km) non-stop (UK's longest annual non stop event)

June: Ultra 100 - 100 mile race from Stratford-upon-Avon around the picturesque Cotswolds Hills - plus navigation.

July: Lakeland 100 - this is the most spectacular long distance trail race in the UK.  the route encompasses the whole of the Lakeland fells, includes in the region of 6300m of ascent and consists entirely of public bridleways and footpaths.

August: Ultra Tour du Mont-Blanc - 104 miles (166km) non-stop France, Italy & Switzerland

October: World Record Attempt - approx 500 miles (details to follow) - UK

PLEASE help me raise as much money as possible for Help for Heroes.  They are an amazing charity that helps and supports our extraordinary men and women of the Armed forces who have been wounded while in the service of their Country.

Any amount however small is really appreciated and does make a difference.

Many thanks.
