Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. This page has been set up to raise money for JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) who are Improving lives and looking for the cure for people with Type 1 Diabetes like me.

Many of you will know that I am diabetic, some of you wont, but in September this year I am climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, which is going to be an amazing experience but also a huge challenge personally. 5 years ago I was diagnosed with Type 1 (juvenile) Diabetes, at the time I did not realise just how much time and effort it takes to maintain a 'normal life'. Injections of Insulin are now a regular daily task along with countless blood sugar tests.

I have now got to a point with my diabetes that I can challenge myself to overcome this enormous task ahead of me. In doing this, and raising money for JDRF I can help them, help people like me.
