Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
When I was 14 I was staying at my best friends house and during the night he was woken up to me shaking his bed violently, this was the first seizure I ever experienced and I was fast asleep throughout. It happened again the following night and so my life with epilepsy started.
I always tried to do things that I wanted to and not let epilepsy stop me but sometimes that was to my detriment in the long run. As I wasn't able to drive I always relied on public transport, cycling or walking. I really enjoy cycling and I think I always will do. It keeps me fit, it's great for exploring and I feel free when I'm on the saddle and I can leave my worries behind for a little while.
Being able to do something I really enjoy, test my physical endurance and support a fantastic cause that is close to my heart is amazing and any money that can be raised by my wonderful group of friends and family will be well received by the Epilepsy Society.
