Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

After a prolonged break from cycling I recently got back in the saddle and have met some truly fantastic people including a young couple who's son has benefitted enormously from the great work of the charity I am riding for.

My challenge is to ride my bike from Hull to Manchester via Leeds and the Pennine's, a distance of 102 miles.

Starting at East Coast Bicycles in Hull a relatively flat ride will take me across to Leeds, venue of next years Grand Depart of the Tour de France, after a short break I will embark on my trip across the Pennine's via Holme Moss, stage 2 of next year's tour, finally arriving at the home of British Cycling, Manchester Velodrome.

To add to the challenge I will be riding fixed gear and solo with a minimum of back up (nearest train station!) the weather may also decide to add to the challenge!

Please support my fundraising effort, every donation is greatly appreciated and will help the work of this worthy cause.
