The reason I have chosen this charity is my good friend Kirsty was
recently diagnosed with this type of cancer. She is currently under going
chemotherapy and her fight, strength and resolve
inspires me greatly. Bone cancer is a rare cancer and I want to help
raise some money for one of the charities Kirsty recommended and
overall to raise awareness about this type of cancer. We have worked together in the sport of ice hockey hence why myself playing in this tournament is a fitting chosen event to be involved in.

I have a huge amount to do to play in this ice hockey tournament. I need to lose a lot of weight and get myself fitter and I
am determined to do this. Your help and support would be greatly appreciated.

This overall means alot to me supporting a friend who has allways been a support to me through the years.
