Lyndsey and I are both part of a 12 strong team running the Coast 2 Coast route, from Whitehaven to Tynemouth over three days from Friday 19 to Sunday 21 August. Over the last nine years members from Wallsend Harriers have ran the 'Toby' in aid of St Oswald's Hospice, who have cared for not only the loved ones of club members, but also many other families around the North East who have loved ones suffering from an incurable condition. We're aiming to break the £30,000 barrier in total money raised over the nine years. This year is also the 30th anniversary of St Oswald's, and it would be a fantastic way of celebrating there 30th Birthday by breaking the £30,000 barrier. Any donation how ever big or small will help them carry out the vital work in the local community, so please give a little to help them carry on there fantastic work.
