Story
At Bishop Fleming, we have taken on the challenge of raising
£100,000 as part of Bishop Fleming's centenary year celebrations.
I have decided to challenge myself by volunteering to take
part in the National Three Peaks event on the weekend of 21st and 22nd of June,
where myself and a number of other Bishop Fleming staff will climb Ben Nevis,
Scafell Pike and Snowdon, the highest peaks in each of Scotland, England and
Wales, within 24 hours!
This will total 23 miles of walking, 10,000 ft vertical
ascent and 460 miles of driving.
My chosen charity is Animal Equality, an international
animal protection organisation committed to creating a more compassionate world
for animals.
Whether you're a fellow vegan or not, I think we can all
agree that no one likes the thought of animals, either farm or domestic,
suffering needlessly.
It breaks my heart and anything I can do to support this cause
I will do to the best of my ability.
This is a HUGE challenge for me (I can barely walk up a
flight of stairs without panting) so any donations, big or small, will be
massively appreciated.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read my story :)
