Many of you will know I recently lost my mum, Jean Plews, to pulmonary embolisms. She was a very special lady; a devoted wife, mum of four and grand/ great-grand mum to many. Apart from being devoted to her family she was much loved by many friends. My dad, Trevor, requested donations be made to the British Lung Foundation. During June and July this year, my friend Derek and I are planning to cycle from Mexico to Canada mostly up the Continental Divide (Rockies). I would like to use this opportunity to raise money for the British Lung Foundation in mum’s memory. We are confident your donations will contribute to helping others in the future that succumb to lung disease.
