Story
The Challenge: run the Newcastle 5k Park Run ten Saturdays in a row, rain or shine
The Goal: raise money for Save the Children, a very worthy charity
The Participant: a thirty-something yank who loves cupcakes & a Saturday morning snoozefest wayyyy too much
Why? Well, if the challenge of getting my cupcake-loving self up early every Saturday for ten weeks to run a grand total of 50K raises even a little money for Save the Children, and gets me slightly more physically fit in the process, then it's a winning situation all around!
And perhaps some of you might even decide to join me on one of these free Saturday morning 5K Park Runs?!
