Come June me and a team of 8 other St Andrews students will be cycling across Africa; strating in Beira Mozambique going through Malawi, Zambia, and ending up in Walvis Bay, Namibia. For those of you who know me you'll know this is going to be a Massive challenge for me. But it's all for a great cause and will be the adventure of a lifetime. All the money we raise will go toward the 6 Charities supported by the Unversity of St Andrews Charities Campaign; Medecins Sans Frontieres, Children Hospice Association Scotland, Royal National Lifeboat Institution, Cancer Research UK, Maggie's Cancer Caring Centers and MacMillan Cancer Support. Additionally we have chosen to support The One Foundation which works with communities in Africa helping them source clean water, combat HIV, and improve nutrition and sanitation.
