We provide specialist nurses to support families affected by dementia

Story

Father and Son are taking part in the London 10k run on Sunday 8 July 2012 and we need all the help we can in reaching our fund raising target of £1000. We have chosen to raise money for Dementia UK to support their future work in helping people with this illness. We're specifically dedicating this run and fund raising to my grandma, who has sadly been living with dementia for a number of years.

I ran the London 10k last year in 50 minutes but this will be my dad's first attempt and although there is much talk of worn out knees and taking account of age, his training schedule is going to plan. I have therefore put him in for a starting position based on completing the 10k in 50 minutes, but he recons I have missed out a one somewhere...

So please dig deep and donate as much as you can.

Many thanks, Matt & Ernie
