Story
This year I've personally been affected by Cancer. A colleague who was young and had a wife and two young children lost his fight for life. He was diagnosed with Cancer and within 2 months of diagnosis, he died. My good friend Martine who's only 33 has been diagnosed with breast cancer and secondary bone cancer. I've watched her gruelling treatment plan including chemotherapy. She's been so brave. The only time I've seen her cry was when her beautiful long thick hair starting to fall out. My ulitimate goal would be to find a cure so that she can see her daughter (13 yrs old) grow up and get married and see her gorgeous little boy, grow-up. This disease affects anyone. Did you know 1 in 3 of us will actually personally suffer from of cancer in our lifetime. Research into cures and treatments for cancer is vital, and this is my small way to help us all in the future, especially our children. Every two minutes someone in the UK is told they have cancer. As the population grows and ages, the number of cases continues to rise. The charity - Cancer Research UK is entirely funded by the public and we need your support to help us continue our groundbreaking work and help more people survive cancer. Make a donation today and become cancer’s worst nightmare.
