Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I was lucky enough to go on an activity day wtih BLESMA before xmas and was inspired by the guys attitude to life and stories of how they overcome difficulties everyday just to do things that we take for granted like shopping or going to the pub.

BLESMA relies solely on charitiable donations to run 2 homes - one in Blackpool and one in Crieff in Scotland which provide short term and long term care and support to limbless ex-service men and women.

Myself and 2 friends - Dan Isherwood and Ed Fox have decided to cycle from the BLESMA home in Blackpool to the BLESMA home in Crieff to raise funds. The planned route is 295 miles over some very hilly terrain which we plan to complete in 4 days from 28th June to 1st July. Any donations to this very worthy cause would be much appreciated. You will be able to follow our progress on Facebook and Twitter.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
