We provide support services and work to reduce the number of baby deaths

Story

Did you know that today 17 UK babies will die, the tragic victims of stillbirth or neonatal deaths. On Wednesday 10th March 2010, our twin boys, Stan and Lee, were two of those 17.

Since their sudden deaths we have been helped by a wonderful charity called Sands. They provide support to anyone affected by the death of a baby, and also fund research to reduce the loss of babies lives.

We want to do all we can to support the Sands' Why17? Campaign, to raise awareness of this devastating loss and to ask the question:

"Why are 17 babies a day dying and what can be done to halt this tragedy?"

Over the coming months and years Becky and I plan to undertake a range of challenges and fundraising activities for Sands in memory of our boys. And we're starting with a big one...

At the end of July this year, Matt will be aiming to cycle solo and unsupported from John O'Groats to Land's End. The journey will be around 900 miles and the goal is to complete it in under 10 days.

This is a massive challenge, so please show your support by digging deep!
