Matt's TEAMDARTS Prostate Cancer awareness

TEAMDARTS · 20 February 2019
Some of you may be aware that my father is battling Prostate Cancer now for the 2nd time in his life. This time it's metastatic, meaning it's spread to other areas throughout his body. The 1st time he underwent radiation and hormone therapy, this time he is undergoing chemotherapy and some very high dollar prescription medications. 17 total different medicines to be exact, some for nausea, others for treatment.
By no means am I asking for help from anyone. This is my help. I want this to be my way of release from all the stress, worrying, communication back and forth with family. This is just going to be my way of getting some of it out. Prostate cancer affects many more men than you'd would probably have thought. I was blindsided by the initial statistics.
Either way, I feel deep down that I should be doing something more. I'm not a scientist and can't find a cure on my own, and I'm not a doctor and can't personally help my father. But what I can do is raise awareness and by doing that take those donations and put them in the hands of the right people. Which is what I'm setting up this page for.
Many of you have seen the dart players or the soccer players wearing the "Man of Men" badges on their lapel for some time. Well that so happens to be a Prostate Cancer Awareness charity in the UK. A cure for 1 man is a cure for all.
I'll have a few boxes of these badges and some of the bracelets as well at the VBDC if you'd like to donate and get one. I'll be wearing mine.
Badges will be a $5 donation
And bracelets will be $4.
Let me know if you have any questions at all. Peace, love and Holla!
