We pioneer life-saving cancer research to help us beat cancer

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My Mum (and Dad) both requested that half of the proceeds of Match For The Day were donated to Cancer Research UK. This was because despite my Mum's cancer progressing further, they wanted to prevent others from getting this far and having to go through the same experience.

Together with its partners and supporters, Cancer Research UK's vision is to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured.

CRUK receives no government funding for its life-saving research and every step it makes towards beating cancer relies on every pound donated.

Cancer Research UK pioneers research into over 200 cancers, to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. .

Cancer Research UK has been at the heart of the progress that has already seen survival rates in the UK double in the last forty years.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Please give generously to help CRUK continue to discover and develop newer, kinder treatments and get closer to cures.

Thank you
