Story
The Bruno Bursary Fund was set up by Jozef and Vivian Mycielski in memory of their son, Bruno, who was born and died in January 2012.
'We decided to raise a minimum of £600,000 for a bursary, in Bruno's name, at Ampleforth College. The funds will be kept in endowment so that each and every year they generate £30,000 to cover the cost of one student in the school for that academic year. We have requested that the students receiving Bruno's Bursary over the years be from a background most needing help and support, the most vulnerable and disadvantaged young people whose lives could change forever as a result of such a bursary at Ampleforth.'
The route covers 200 miles of peak district and Yorkshire dales with 18,463 feet of climbing. Split over 2 days this should be one of the toughest things I have ever attempted. Please donate generously.
Thank you.
