Story
As many of you are aware, in 2007 my baby brother Bobby sadly lost his life to meningitis. This was devastating for me and my family and is something I will never get over.
As I was only young I felt helpless and wasn’t able to help or do anything, however I now feel that I can help raise awareness and much needed funds in support of this devastating disease.
I will be undertaking 2 of Britain’s hardest challenges. Firstly the 3 peaks challenge, a grueling 26 mile yomp over the 3 highest mountains in the Yorkshire Dales. Pen-y-gent, Whernside, and Ingleborough, a total ascent of 2153 meters or 7063 ft, and a 26 mile tab to boot.
A short time after this yomp I will then be taking on what is described as one of Britain’s hardest yomp a grueling 43 mile across the entire width of the bleak North Yorkshire moors, this challenge is mode all the more harder by the notorious North Yorkshire weather, this challenge is physically and mentally challenging but more so very dangerous due to the environment and length, as a result I am being supported by my uncle and a few of his friends.
