Story
Hey there people,
As you may be aware, my Dad suffered a heart attack last year and we came very close to losing him. Thankfully due to efforts of the guys at Stoke hospital he pulled through and has pretty much made a full recovery.
I decided then that I wanted to do The Great North Run (which is 13.1 miles) to raise money for The British Heart Foundation in honour of the people who saved his life.
Then, tragically, just before Christmas, a friend of mine lost her Dad after he unfortunately suffered a fatal heart attack. And, even more recently, another friend of mine lost his Nan through a heart related condition.
Both of these tragic events have given me an even bigger reason to do this and to raise as much money as possible for the charity. So please please please donate as much as you can, in memory of those who are no longer with us and to make more people as lucky as my Dad and live to see another day.
Thank you
