We care for street children and orphans to give them hope and a future

Story

I made it..just...in a time of 5 hours and lots of mintes! Keep supporting me - i haven't hit the target yet, and, if i go over, well, there's plenty of kids on the streets looking for a home....!

We rescued 10 boys from the streets in Kenya recently. Another 10. We already care for 83, so now we have 93!

Each one can tell you a story of how poverty, sickness or family breakdown caused them to run away to the streets to search for a 'better life' but they ended up killing rats for food or eating rubbish from the dump and sniffing glue to drown out their hunger pains. We take them into our Sunshine Home, care for them, educate them, and help them find work.

Great results, but it needs money - and that's where you can really help by sponsoring my 6th marathon on 8th May at the Orpington Marafun (which I organise too, just to make life complex). £25 covers the basic cost for a child for a month. If I can raise £3,000 it will keep these kids safe for a whole year.

Please be generous, and remember they have NOTHING unless someone takes care of them. Read more on our website .

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
